                 My name is Cameron King and I am a local Saint Louis Photographer. I have been into photography for around three years now and am currently trying to pursue it as a career. I currently use a Cannon t3i camera that only shoots in manual and am saving up for a Nikon d3400. I really enjoy black and white photography as well as selective color photography, but if you would like to see some of the original photos with color you can email me below and i can send a copy of the original colored photos. Artist Statement:

                The reasons for me getting into photography are for the same reasons that most people do; to captures moments and memories and to be able to look back on them later. I don’t like saying that it got boring but having that be the only reason I took photos, started to give me less motivation to go out and shoot. I have always enjoyed seeing people’s reactions I would get from who saw my work; it helped motivate me to get better. I wanted to be able to capture things people do not often see or didn’t even know were possible to capture with a camera. For the past year I have been trying to push my camera and manipulate it to try and capture things that make people question how they took them, and what they are looking at. I have been experimenting with deep space photography recently and have been so surprised at the details a DSLR camera with a stock lens can capture of the night sky.
